Nosy Komba, which means “the island surrounded by rocks” is well-known due to the many lemurs on the island who are a sacred and protected specie.

The weather is always good, but the summer months of October to May are generally hot and humid. From June to September the weather is a bit cooler, but only marginally so as it’s still hot enough to only wear a bathing costume and sarong all day.
December to March are the rainy months with lots of thunderstorms and heavy rain at night, but still sunny during the day.
If it rains during the day it will be a heavy downpour for 1-2 hours and then it’s all over. These are also considered to be the cyclone months.
